NOTE: A heavy appetizer buffet will be served during the 5-6:30 session. A no-host bar will be available the entire time along with complimentary coffee, tea and water.

The Gallery Showcase & Networking session give our members and guests a chance to network and learn more about the products and services of suppliers, manufacturers and other relevant companies that support our industry. This 90 minute segment is open to all event attendees.

These companies will be featured in the Gallery: BAKON USA, Cargill Cocoa & Chocolates, Chef Rubber, CocoaTown, Moonstruck Chocolate, Nashville Wraps, Netzsch, Professional Image, Inc. and aspecialtybox.com,
Savage Bros, Siam Woodworks, and TrufflyMade, Inc.

Chef Rubber will be demonstrating cocoa-butter painting techniques and other Gallery participants will have samples and/or information.  We’re continuing to add companies to the Gallery. Contact us if you are interested.

Panel Discussion: Innovation & Trends
The fine chocolate segment of our industry is where the majority of innovation occurs. Nearly every chocolate trend has been set by a small-to-medium chocolate makers and chocolatiers across the globe. This session will explore the current trends – which are still growing in popularity, which ones are growing passé, and what’s on the horizon.

Our panelists will be facilitated by FCIA Board Member & co-founder of Choclatique, Joan Vieweger. Our esteemed panelists include: Curtis Vreeland (author of the recent report titled ‘Chocolate Market in the U.S.: Trends and Opportunities in Premium, Gourmet and Mass Chocolate Products), a fine chocolatier Julian Rose of Moonstruck Chocolate, a fine chocolate manufacturer Pierre Cantrel
from Valrhona, industry suppliers: Luc Imberechts of BAKON USA, and Paul Edward of Chef Rubber, and premium packing supplier John Simpson from The RevereGroup.

Together this group will discuss the current trends, the business changes they made to support these trends, and the customer requests they’re getting now that indicate new trends and innovation.
