* * * * *
You spoke, FCIA listened.
You said, besides FCIA's two annual events, you wanted more opportunities to network with your colleagues in the fine chocolate community. And, you wanted it closer to where you live and work so you can focus on more regional issues.
Meet the Hosts - The Five Mile Chocolate Team.

The Five Mile Chocolate Team
Ryan Nuss, Jess Beeman, Shannon Neffendorf, Dylan Webb, Will Riggs, Mark Corapi
Who is invited?
All FCIA Members and Friends who live and work in Texas are invited to attend, including chocolate makers, chocolateirs, writers, bloggers, educators and other professionals who support the fine chocolate industry.
Five Mile Chocolate can accommodate a nice size group in their facility, but we do require you to RSVP so hosts can plan for appetizers and beverages.
What's on the agenda?
- YOU: And the issues you want to talk about.
- TOUR: The Five Mile Chocolate team will give you a tour of their facility and tell you how they expanded from coffee to chocolate and what they've learned along the way.
- PANEL: "Trajectory" Shannon Neffendorf (Five Mile Chocolate), Cindy Pedraza (Cocoa Andre) and Troy Easton (Sublime Chocolate) will discuss:
· Sourcing quality cacao and ingredients
· Social and environmental responsibility and growth
· Cooperation in the industry
- FUTURE: Your hosts will collect your topic ideas and suggestions for future FCIA Meet-Ups in your area.
- NETWORKING: And of course, with all FCIA events, networking, networking & more networking!
